I know what it’s like to not want to walk your dog.
I’ve had dogs all my life—some have been a dream on the lead, while others… well, not so much.
Take my two Staffies, for example. Separately, they walked beautifully. Together? It was a full-on pulling contest.
Now add a pram with a baby into the mix, and you’ve got a recipe for chaos. A new mum, two excitable dogs, and a pram—just stepping out the front door felt overwhelming.
Then there is Chip, our Springer. We struggled with his lead training (oh, how I wish I knew then what I know now). He’s much better these days ( so I don’t suffer so much with tennis elbow from the relentless pulling or a bad back where he’s twisted me), but he still has his steam-train moments.
And Rocket? Six years ago, after some tough experiences with other dogs, he couldn’t handle being near them at all. Even seeing one across the street would send him into meltdown. Let’s just say I became an expert at hiding behind cars, diving into bushes, and taking the longest possible detours. There were a lot of tears along the way.
So trust me—I get it.
I know how something as simple as walking your dog can bring on stress, frustration, and even dread.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
Let’s make it better.
Let’s take that first step together.
Book a 1-2-1 session, and let’s go for a walk.
If your dog:
– Reacts to other dogs – barking, lunging, spinning (or all three!)
– Stops in their tracks, refusing to move
– Ignores you completely
Or if you feel anxious, lack confidence, or just want support handling your dog—I can help!
