Coaching walks are one of my favourite things to do.
When we’re out in the real world together, I get to see who your dog really is, what makes them light up, what makes them hesitate, and what makes their brain go “nope!”. Seeing all of that helps me understand them so much better than I ever could indoors.
And because I’ve got a reactive dog myself, I completely get how nerve-wracking some places or situations can feel. There are walks I used to avoid too. So when I support you through those “oh gosh, not here” moments, it comes from a place of genuine empathy, not judgement.
What I love most is being able to show you the little things you can do that make a huge difference; the tweaks, tools and tricks that help your dog cope, and help you breathe a bit easier too.
Because walks are supposed to feel… well, doable. Enjoyable, even!
Helping you and your dog feel more confident, more connected, and more successful out there is why I love coaching walks. ![]()
And this is Winston – he totally rocked his first coaching walk yesterday!
